High end drum scanning, now becoming very difficult to source. But we at Printcom still keep a Crosfield Celsis 6250 drum scanner in tip top working order, able to scan anything that will fit on the scanning drum.

We are able to scan wide range of materials as long as it is flexible: Such things as cloth, transparencies, previous printed copies, paper, paintings on paper or canvas and even x-rays. Maximum input size is 510mm x 720mm but depending on the subject we may be able to scan bigger items.

Resolution is almost unlimited as scanning an image larger than you need it at a higher resolution means the final resolution will be a lot higher than the perceived maximum. To put it into perspective, a camera these days would be rated as 14 Mega pixels for example… we have scanned images with a value in excess of 186 Mega pixels.
